Askeaton Castle is one of Ireland’s best-preserved medieval tower houses, dating back to the 15th century and once home to the powerful Earl of Desmond. Set along the River Deel, the castle features impressive stone walls, a great hall, and even a rare banqueting hall, offering a glimpse into noble life in medieval Ireland. As we explored the grounds, lk_lh_15 and loborosh managed to hide a tiny penguin stone here, leaving a little secret in this historic setting.
