Muckross Lake is in the middle of Killarney’s three famous lakes. It is known for its striking depth, reaching up to 75 meters, making it one of the deepest lakes in Ireland. Surrounded by mountains and lush woodland, it offers some of the most scenic views in Killarney National Park. As lk_lh_15 and loborosh explored the lakeshore, they couldn’t resist leaving a tiny penguin stone as a playful secret in this breathtaking natural setting.
