At Arboretum Mlyňany in Slovakia, we encountered the unique Torreya nucifera, a rare conifer native to East Asia known for its distinctive needles and ancient lineage. As we admired this unusual tree along the peaceful paths, we couldn’t resist hiding another tiny penguin stone right in its trunk, leaving a playful little secret for others to discover.
