Andrej Štôlna in Kremnica, Slovakia, is an impressive historic mine stretching over several kilometers, offering a fascinating glimpse into the town’s rich mining past. We joined a guided tour to explore its underground passages and learn more about the techniques miners used over the centuries. The experience was captivating, and of course, we couldn’t resist leaving a tiny penguin stone behind. We tucked it under the small plate at the feet of the guarding dwarf statue, making it a playful little secret for future visitors to spot. So if you go for a visit, ask the tour guide to look under, we bet they will be surprised.
