Kremnica Castle in Kremnica, Slovakia, is a striking medieval fortress dating back to the 13th century, originally built to protect the town’s famous gold mines. Over the centuries, it played a key role in the region’s defense. It even housed the royal mint, making Kremnica one of Europe’s most important mining towns. After exploring the castle and wandering through its historic courtyards, we discovered a charming stone wall. We couldn’t resist hiding a tiny penguin stone there, leaving our playful mark amidst centuries of history.
