The Treasury in Petra, Jordan, is one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. Carved directly into rose-red sandstone cliffs over 2,000 years ago by the Nabataeans, this iconic monument, also known as Al-Khazneh, greets visitors at the end of the narrow Siq canyon with its towering 40-meter façade. Despite its name, it was most likely a royal tomb rather than a place where treasure was stored. Local Bedouins once believed an urn carved at the top of the façade contained hidden treasure, and you can still see bullet marks from attempts to break it open. Among the ancient columns and timeless desert magic, avi_and_iva & evulienka1965 have now hidden one of our penguin stones here, adding a tiny modern adventure to this legendary wonder of the world.
