As we continued our hike through the Little Carpathians, we came across the Ancient Tree at Strmochy, a silent giant believed to be at least 600 years old. Standing proudly among much younger trees, it felt like a living witness to centuries of forest life, weather, and passing footsteps. There was something deeply humbling about this moment, and it simply felt right to pause here for a while. Naturally, this remarkable tree deserved a slight Lifeguin touch, so we carefully left a penguin stone behind, adding a tiny story to a place that has already seen so many.
