At the beginning of that, it looks like books stacked up on each other in Gamcheon Culture Village, a little penguin stone now hides, keeping watch over one of Busan’s most charming corners. Book Alley is a colorful, cozy passage lined with tiny book-themed displays, murals, and quirky decorations inspired by classic literature. Many of the installations here were created by local artists as part of a community revitalization project that transformed Gamcheon from a hillside settlement into the vibrant art village it is today. As you climb the steps, the mix of stories, colors, and quiet corners makes Book Alley feel like a living bookshelf tucked into the heart of Busan.
