Standing along Chicago’s Navy Pier, the Bob Newhart Statue pays tribute to the legendary comedian and actor known for his signature deadpan humor and iconic 1970s sitcom, The Bob Newhart Show, which was set in Chicago. The bronze statue captures him sitting in his famous therapist’s chair, inviting visitors to take a seat beside him, making it one of the city’s most interactive photo spots. An interesting fact: when the statue was unveiled in 2004, Bob Newhart himself joked that he hoped it wouldn’t become a perch for pigeons, a true touch of his classic wit.

And there’s another surprise waiting here: luciakontsek hid a penguin stone nearby, and not just any stone, but one of the golden ones! Keep your eyes open if you visit.
