luciakontsek and loborosh hiked to the end of the trail in Kirkjubøur, the charming Faroese village known for its medieval churches and turf-roofed houses. On their waddle, they passed by fields dotted with curious sheep that wandered close to the path, a reminder of how central sheep farming is to life in the Faroe Islands. At the trail’s end, they reached a sheep farm that is not only beautifully set against the sea but also historically significant—many Faroese farms like this one have been family-run for generations, providing wool and lamb that remain staples of local culture. Apart from the peaceful view that awaits here, there’s also a little surprise—a penguin stone placed underneath one of the rocks.
