Victoria’s Gardens in Stará Ľubovňa is more than just a maze; it’s a handcrafted world where folk tales, wooden sculptures, and playful imagination come together in the heart of the Slovak countryside. Built by a local family with nothing but vision and dedication, it’s now home to the largest living maze in Central Europe, with over 20,000 plants forming 3.2 kilometers of winding paths. Alongside the wooden riddles, lookout tower, and peaceful chill-out zones, we added our little surprise to the garden—a hidden penguin stone tucked somewhere so well that even we probably couldn’t find it again. But one of the wooden statues (the old man) guards it.
