After the steep descent from the Black Lake, we reached a crossing at a peaceful open area where several trails meet. Surrounded by lush meadows and tall evergreens, the air felt cooler and calmer after the demanding waddle down. A wooden signpost marked the way to Tauplitz, guiding us onward through the valley. The sound of a distant stream and the soft crunch of gravel underfoot added to the tranquil atmosphere. It was a perfect spot to pause, take in the fresh alpine air, and appreciate the natural beauty before continuing our journey toward Tauplitz. We found a very peculiar-looking stone here, so we decided to leave a penguin stone behind inside one of the openings in the stone.
