Jardin Public in Bordeaux, France, is an urban park that offers a peaceful retreat in the city’s heart. Spanning over 10 hectares, it features beautifully landscaped gardens, a large pond, a children’s playground, and even a puppet theatre, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists. The park is also home to the Natural History Museum of Bordeaux. Interestingly, the Jardin Public was originally created in 1746 to provide a green space modeled after English gardens. It has been classified as a “Jardin Remarquable” by the French Ministry of Culture, recognizing its historical and botanical significance. Thanks to Monika, who took a few penguin stones on her adventure, you can now find one within the beautiful garden. Look for a tree.
