Squid Bay is tucked along the shores of Sydney, Australia. It is a hidden gem known for its crystal-clear waters and peaceful atmosphere. Located near Middle Harbour, this small bay is a favorite spot for kayakers, paddleboarders, and those looking to escape the city’s buzz. Squid Bay gets its quirky name from the abundance of squid that gather in its waters, making it a popular destination for recreational fishing. Surrounded by rugged bushland and sandstone cliffs, the area is also home to native wildlife like kookaburras, water dragons, and even the occasional sea eagle. Despite its closeproximity to central Sydney, Squid Bay feels like a secret world where you can swim, snorkel, and explore nature all year round. Our friends luciakontsek and loborosh, were on the way to Bondi Beach, and while resting on one of the benches, another penguin stone found its place here, chillin’ in the Australian sun with an epic view.
