You can see Edinburgh Castle standing proudly on Castle Rock, dominating the skyline of Scotland’s capital city. This historic fortress, with its rugged stone walls and dramatic position, attracts visitors worldwide. As people waddle through its ancient halls, they discover centuries of Scottish history, from royal ceremonies to fierce battles. One interesting fact is that the castle houses the Stone of Destiny, a symbol of the Scottish monarchy, which has been used in the coronation of kings and queens for centuries and was only returned to Scotland in 1996 after being kept in England for 700 years. While visiting the castle, we found a nice place to put a penguin stone within its walls. It now became part of the castle. So get your tickets, enjoy the castle, and good luck finding the penguin stone. You can find it not far from the entrance in the wall.
