Leissigen is a serene village on the shores of Lake Thun in Switzerland that offers visitors a peaceful retreat surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. You can find it in the Bernese Oberland region; this small town is known for its stunning lake views, lush meadows, and proximity to hiking trails that lead into the surrounding mountains. The calm waters of Lake Thun provide opportunities for swimming, boating, and relaxing by the shore, while the nearby St. Beatus Caves add a touch of adventure to the area. Leissigen’s quiet charm and natural beauty make it an ideal destination for tranquility and outdoor exploration in the Swiss Alps. We stayed here in an Airbnb, and while exploring the area, we found a nice spot for a penguin stone with a view of the lake.
