Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland, was founded in 1191 as a Roman Catholic cathedral and is currently the national cathedral of the Church of Ireland. Some interesting facts about the cathedral include that Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver’s Travels, is buried in it! The cathedral is also world famous for its choir, which was established in 1432 and still performs daily during school term. During the sixteenth century, it also served as a courthouse. It’s fair to say there is lots of history to discover here, but if you waddle around it, you can find a penguin stone behind the memorial, thanks to Javi, who took it on his adventure.
