Průhonice Park is a significant historical and natural landmark located near Prague, Czech Republic, only 15 kilometers southeast of the center. The park covers an area of approximately 250 hectares (about 617 acres), making it one of the largest parks in the Czech Republic. The park was established in 1885 by Count Arnošt Emanuel Silva-Tarouca, inspired by English landscape gardens. In 2010, Průhonice Park and Průhonice Castle were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Among the interesting features is the park’s impressive collection of native and exotic plants. There are over 1,600 species of trees and shrubs. We waddled all along the castle and then the vast area of the park to find the perfect spot for the penguin stone. And it is not the only stone hidden there.
