Zobor is a hill in the Ponitrie region of Slovakia, rising to 587 meters above sea level and offering stunning views over the city of Nitra. It is part of the Tribeč mountain range and a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The area is rich in history, with the ruins of Zobor Monastery, one of Slovakia’s oldest monasteries, dating back to the 9th century. Zobor was also once home to a sanatorium in the early 20th century, where patients with respiratory diseases were treatedusing fresh mountain air and heliotherapy (sunlight treatment). And now, thanks to luciakontsek and loborosh, who took a penguin stone on their long waddle, await here.
