The bench overlooking Oeschinen Lake in Switzerland offers one of the most breathtaking views in the Swiss Alps. Located near the village of Kandersteg, this serene spot allows visitors to sit back and take in the stunning turquoise waters of the glacial lake, surrounded by towering peaks and lush alpine meadows. The tranquil setting is perfect for hikers and nature lovers who seek peace while admiring the dramatic landscape. Oeschinen Lake is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch, making it a must-visit destination for those exploring Switzerland’s natural beauty. There are several benches along the way, and at one, we decided to leave a penguin stone. Look for the boulder near the bench to find it and enjoy the view from the bench.
