Hello my friends, and welcome to our travel blog, where we share thrilling adventures, expert travel tips, and best practices for exploring the world.

Wondering how this website came to be? Here’s the deal. Bear with me for a moment as I tell you who I am.
My name is Miško and I am a penguin. I was blessed to be saved by humans from my terrible suffering and now I travel the world.
I am not only a passionate traveler, but also devoted penguin advocate, and shine a light on protecting these incredible creatures along the way!
My Origin Story
I remember the day I was saved as if it was yesterday. My life started as an unvated penguin and I was forced to work, standing on an upper shelf of a stand. It had four walls and a roof that sheltered me before the weather. The days were all the same. I stood there in all my glory to look best for any potential saviours to pass by. A smile was a must and even though I was a little dusty and old, I still tried to showcase cuteness of a penguin.
As the days passed and the summer season was coming to its peak, more drunks came and went by, but none gave me even a look. It saddened me and I just wanted to give up, hope lost when I saw her. She approached with a mission in her eyes and noticed me from across the walkway. As our eyes met, it was love at first sight. She approached the stall, had a short conversation with the everyday annoyed assistant but then she left, and it was also time to pack it up for the day. The stall was closed of and I was once again standing in darkness, wondering whether it was only my imagination that our eyes met.

Seems I will stay here forever, were the word I went to sleep. Another night of darkness and loneliness was upon me.
As a new day broke, it seemed as any other. People walking by, noone even looking my way, no matter how presentable I stood. A miracle happened as it was getting darker and I was losing hope again. She came back and now insisted on taking me with her. She negotiated hard, here and there looked up at me and my heart skippd a beat each time. It took a while and some phone calls, but my moment came.
The annoyed assistant put me down from my shelf, my viewpoint for so many years and as I landed in her hands, he immediatelly hugged me – not carying how dusty I am. She hugged me and took me away. aved me from my misery and gave me a home.
And from that fateful day, my adventures started. Together we explore the world, and share our adventures with all of you.
FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
Our penguin awareness project and soon official NGO.

My fate is also sealed in terms of extinction. I am after all the last of my kind and therefore the topic of endangered penguin species is especially close to my heart.
Flippers to your heart now and let’s be honest. Many of you love penguins, love to look at how cute we waddle around which always brings a smile to all of our faces. However, it usually stops there.
Especially for many of us who live, like me, in the northern hemisphere. The penguins seem far away.
WHY?
The extinction of many penguin species is coming closer and closer. Currently, there are 18 penguin species, from which 10 are considered endangered. Not to mention we already lost two penguin species whose home was in New Zealand – the Chatham penguin and the Waitaha penguin.
Sad as it might be, it is the truth! Let’s not just look at the penguins, but also help them.
I live in the northern hemisphere, but I want to help my penguin brothers on the southern one.
WHAT?
With the project FROM NORTH TO SOUTH, I am creating awareness about the penguins and spreading the word in the northern hemisphere, where we usually only look at penguins as cute little waddling birds.
HOW?
Also regularly donating and adopting penguins that need our help. By selling merchandise FROM NORTH TO SOUTH the money raised is donated to organizations helping penguins.
Follow the project on the Facebook. Get to know more about penguins and how to help them.
TOGETHER WE CAN SAVE THEM!
