The Manor House in Snina, Slovakia, is a historic gem that showcases the town’s rich cultural heritage. The history dates back to the early 19th century to the noble Rholl family. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a serene park, which is a perfect place to waddle around and relax. If you also go inside, you can learn a lot about the history of the Rholl family and the region, where they were instrumental in the region’s economic development during the 19th century. The Rholl family were prominent iron magnates and played a significant role in establishing and expanding the iron industry in eastern Slovakia. They founded several ironworks and contributed to the modernization of production techniques, greatly influencing the local economy and providing employment opportunities for many residents in the area. We waddled through the gardens and found a perfect place for a penguin stone. Look for the tree with the birdhouse on it.
